WCC was organized by Selmersenteret in cooperation with INRIA, and took place in the center of Bergen. A COST workshop was integrated in the regular WCC program on Thursday and Friday, April 18-19.
Thanks to all participants for making the WCC an exciting, enjoyable, and pleasant event. During the next days we will upload the presentation files; if you are a speaker and object to this, please let us know. Moreover, we have uploaded pictures from the WCC; if you object to this you should also let us know. Pdf verson of the Pre-proceedings. Authors of presented papers are invited to submit full papers to a special thematic issue of Designs, Codes, and Cryptography. Please note that the deadline for the special issue has been extended to September 1, 2013.
Topics include:
- Coding theory: error-correcting codes, decoding algorithms, fountain coding, network coding, space-time coding and collaborative decoding, related
combinatorial problems
- Cryptology: block and stream ciphers, hash functions, public key cryptography, cryptanalysis, secret sharing, authentication, intellectual property
protection
- Discrete mathematics and algorithmic tools arising from
these two areas, such as: Boolean functions, sequences, finite fields, algebraic systems and
related polynomial properties.
